Description

Discover how to make delicious Air Fryer Grilled Cheese Hot Dogs with this easy recipe. Perfectly crispy and cheesy, a must-try for any cheese lover!

Ingredients

  • 1 slice bread
  • 2 teaspoon (10 ml) s mayonnaise
  • 1 slice cheese
  • 1 beef frank

Instructions

  1. Take a slice of bread and apply a thin coat of mayonnaise on one side.
  2. Place a slice of cheese on the uncoated side of the bread.
  3. Position a beef frank on top of the cheese-covered side and wrap the bread around it, enveloping it snugly.
  4. Use two toothpicks (or three, if necessary) to secure the ends of the bread to the beef frank.
  5. Depending on your air fryer, either preheat it to 375°F or set it to 375°F if preheating is not needed.
  6. Carefully place your creation in the air fryer, ensuring not to overcrowd the space.
  7. My air fryer can accommodate about 4 without them touching, but older models might only fit 2.
  8. Cook using the air fry setting for approximately 3 to 4 minutes. If not ready after 4 minutes, extend the cooking time in 1-minute intervals until fully cooked.
  9. Take out and serve right away. Pair with ketchup, mustard, or any other preferred dipping sauces.

Notes

  • Consider using whole wheat bread and low-fat mayonnaise for a healthier option.
  • Experiment with cheddar or pepper jack cheese for extra flavor.
  • Opt for a turkey or chicken frank for a lighter alternative.
