Ingredients
- 1 lb (454 g) russet potatoes, (2 large or 3 medium potatoes)
- 1 Tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
- 1/2 tsp (3 ml) salt, or to taste
- 1/8 tsp (1 ml) ground black pepper, or to taste
- 1/8 tsp (1 ml) garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp (1 ml) paprika
Instructions
- Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Slice the potatoes into uniform strips, each ¼-inch thick.
- Place the potato strips in cold water to rinse, then dry them completely using a towel.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the fries with olive oil, ensuring they are well-coated. Sprinkle the fries with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika, and mix again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
- Move the seasoned fries to the basket of the air fryer and set the temperature to 380°F. Cook them for 10 minutes.
- Shake the fries and continue cooking for another 6-10 minutes until they achieve a golden color and crispy texture.
- Optionally, garnish with parsley and serve hot with a dipping sauce of your choice.
