Ingredients

  • 454 g jar dill pickle coins, drained
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup (120 g) panko breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil, for drizzling
  • Remoulade sauce, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Warm up the air fryer to 370°F.
  2. Utilize a dry kitchen cloth or paper towels to remove moisture from the pickles. Put them aside.
  3. Beat the egg in a small bowl. Spread out the panko in a medium bowl.
  4. Coat each pickle slice first in the egg and then in the panko. As you prepare them, arrange the pickles on a plate and lightly drizzle with vegetable oil. Arrange them in a single layer inside the air fryer basket, ensuring there’s space between each piece. Avoid overfilling the basket. If needed, cook in several rounds.
  5. Cook in the air fryer for 11 to 14 minutes, or until they are crunchy and golden. The precise duration will vary based on your air fryer.
  6. Enjoy immediately with remoulade on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • Thoroughly dry pickle slices to achieve crispiness in the air fryer.
  • Ensure each pickle slice is evenly coated with egg and panko for a perfect crunch.
  • Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for proper air circulation and even cooking.
