Description

Crispy and flavorful air fryer fish fillets, perfect for a quick and healthy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 6-8 pieces fish fillets (2 oz each) – firm white fish like cod, haddock, or tilapia
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs (gluten-free options are available)
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder or granules
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine paprika, chili powder, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Toss the fish fillets in the spice mixture until evenly coated.
  3. In a shallow dish, add the dry breadcrumbs and drizzle with olive oil. Mix well to coat the crumbs with oil.
  4. Dip each seasoned fish fillet into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to ensure a thick coat.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  6. Place the breaded fish fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Carefully remove the fish from the air fryer and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

For best results, use fresh fish and consider letting the breaded fillets rest for a few minutes before cooking.
