Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce (425 g)) can unsalted chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 5 tablespoon (23 ml) s toasted sesame oil
  • 25 teaspoon (1 ml) smoked paprika
  • 25 teaspoon (1 ml) crushed red pepper
  • 125 teaspoon (1 ml) salt
  • Cooking spray
  • 2 lime wedges


Instructions

  1. Lay the chickpeas on multiple layers of paper towels. Cover them with additional paper towels and press gently to ensure they are thoroughly dried, rolling them beneath the towels for complete drying.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, mix the chickpeas with sesame oil. Dust them with smoked paprika, crushed red pepper, and salt. Place them in an air fryer basket and apply cooking spray.
  3. Air fry at 400 degrees F until they are nicely browned, about 12 to 14 minutes, occasionally shaking the basket. Drizzle lime juice from wedges over the chickpeas before serving.
