Description

Learn how to make delicious Air Fryer Cinnamon Sugar Donuts at home with this easy recipe. Perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside!

Ingredients

  • 25 cup (60 ml) vegetable oil, melted
  • 5 cup (120 ml) white sugar
  • 25 cup (60 ml) brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) ground cinnamon
  • 25 teaspoon (1 ml) ground nutmeg
  • 1 (16.3 ounce (462 g)) package refrigerated flaky biscuit dough (such as Pillsbury™ Grand s!™ Flaky Layers)

Instructions

  1. Put the melted oil in a bowl. In another bowl, mix together the white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  2. Divide the biscuit dough into separate pieces and use a cutter or piping tip to remove the centers, forming a ring shape. Arrange these rings in the air fryer basket.
  3. Cook in the air fryer at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) until they turn golden brown, about 4 to 6 minutes. Turn the rings over and continue cooking for another 1 to 3 minutes.
  4. Take the rings out of the air fryer. Submerge each one in the melted oil, ensuring the entire surface is covered, then roll in the sugar-cinnamon blend until fully coated. Enjoy right away.

Notes

  • Evenly coat each biscuit ring with melted oil before rolling in the sugar-cinnamon blend for optimal flavor.
  • Increase ground cinnamon in the sugar-cinnamon blend for a more intense cinnamon flavor.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray to prevent biscuit rings from sticking.
