Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 pounds (567 g) ground beef
  • Salt, pepper, and garlic powder
  • 4 (10-inch) flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) dill pickle slices, drained on paper towels
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) sliced sweet onion
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • 2 tablespoon (30 ml) s melted salted vegetable oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon (1 ml) garlic powder


Instructions

  1. Cook and break apart the beef, seasoning it with approximately 1/2 teaspoon each of salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Remove any excess fat and let it cool.
  2. Place the flour tortillas on a microwave-safe dish and cover them with a wet paper towel. Heat in the microwave for 20 to 30 seconds to soften.
  3. Combine the ketchup and mayonnaise in a small bowl and apply a bit to one side of each tortilla.
  4. Lay 1/4 of the pickles in the center of each tortilla and add 1/4 of the cooked beef on top.
  5. Add slices of onion and 2 pieces of American cheese over the beef mixture.
  6. Fold each tortilla like a burrito, tucking the sides in and rolling it away from you.
  7. Mix the melted vegetable oil and garlic powder in a small container, and brush it over the tortillas.
  8. Cook in an air fryer at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 to 6 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
