Ingredients
- 2 apples (300g) of choice, very thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp (3 ml) ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp (5 ml) coconut sugar or any granulated sugar, optional
Instructions
- If required by your air fryer model, set it to preheat at 325°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the apple slices with cinnamon and sugar (if desired), mixing well to ensure they are evenly coated.
- Arrange the coated apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, doing this in batches if needed.
- Cook in the air fryer at 325°F for 15 minutes, shaking the basket or flipping the apple slices every 5 minutes to ensure they cook uniformly.
- The apple chips are done when the edges are golden and they feel firm. They will become crisper as they cool down.
