Ingredients
- – 4 boneless skinless chicken thighs (24 oz / 680g)
- – 1.5 tablespoon olive oil (1.5 tablespoon / 22.5ml)
- – 1.5 teaspoon (8 ml) mixed herbs
- – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) garlic powder optional
- – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) paprika regular or sweet paprika
- – pinch salt
- – pinch black pepper
Instructions
- Use a paper towel to dry the chicken thighs and place them into a large bowl. Pour in the olive oil and add the mixed herbs, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix the chicken with the seasonings until they are thoroughly coated, using your hands or a brush if needed.
- Heat the air fryer to 400F / 205C for 3 minutes before use.
- Lightly coat the air fryer basket with olive oil spray and use tongs to position the chicken thighs with the rounded side facing down. Arrange them in a single layer, leaving space between each piece.
- Set the air fryer to 390F / 200C for 8 minutes. Flip the chicken with tongs and continue cooking for another 8 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165F / 74C. The cooking duration may vary slightly based on the size of the chicken thighs.
- Using tongs, carefully take the chicken thighs out of the air fryer basket (avoid using hands as they will be extremely hot!) and allow them to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
