Description

Juicy, tender salmon infused with a kick of spices, ready in minutes and perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 fillets salmon (skin-on preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing the salmon)

Instructions

  1. Mix together paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, and dried oregano in a small bowl.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  3. Brush each salmon fillet with olive oil, ensuring both sides are covered. Generously sprinkle the spice mixture over the salmon.
  4. Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down. Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Remove the salmon from the air fryer, allowing it to sit for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, try marinating the salmon in the spice mix for a short time before cooking. Adjust spice levels according to preference.
