Description

Learn how to make delicious Air Fryer Bang Bang Salmon Bites with this easy recipe. Crispy, spicy, and perfect for a quick and tasty meal!

Ingredients

  • – 450g salmon fillets, skinless (1 lb)
  • – 15g sweet paprika (1 tbsp)
  • – 15g brown sugar (1 tbsp)
  • – 15g garlic powder (1 tbsp)
  • – 5g salt (1 tsp)
  • – 5g black pepper (1 tsp)
  • – 1.25g red pepper flakes (1/4 tsp)
  • – 120g light mayonnaise (1/2 cup)
  • – 60g sweet chili sauce (1/4 cup)
  • – 7.5g honey (1/2 tbsp)
  • – 7.5g lemon juice (1/2 tbsp)
  • – 5g sriracha can add 5-10g more if you want it spicier (1 tsp)
  • – 15g water (more or less depending on if you want it as a sauce or more like a dressing) (1 tbsp)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by mixing all the ingredients in a bowl or shaking them in a mason jar. Keep it in the refrigerator until you’re ready to use it. The dressing will become thicker over time; to thin it out, simply shake it with a bit more water until you reach the preferred consistency.
  2. Set your air fryer to preheat at 400 degrees F. In a small bowl, combine the seasoning ingredients by whisking them together.
  3. Use a paper towel to dry the salmon and then cut it into 1-inch pieces. Place the salmon chunks in a bowl and lightly coat them with cooking spray. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the salmon chunks and toss to ensure an even coating.
  4. Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the salmon pieces in the basket in a single layer and cook for 5-7 minutes, turning them halfway through, until the salmon is cooked through and no longer pink.

Notes

  • Use Greek yogurt instead of light mayonnaise for a healthier, lighter sauce.
  • Experiment with cayenne pepper or smoked paprika for a unique salmon flavor.
  • Adjust honey or brown sugar for a sweeter sauce to your liking.
