- – 1/2 cup (25 g) dried bread crumbs
- – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) paprika
- – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) dried chili powder
- – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) ground black pepper
- – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) garlic powder
- – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) onion powder
- – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) cayenne pepper
- – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) salt
Instructions
- Place the sliced chicken cutlets in a bowl and pour olive oil over them, ensuring they are thoroughly covered.
- In a separate shallow dish, combine the bread crumbs with paprika, chili powder, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and salt until they are well blended.
- Dredge each chicken piece in the seasoned bread crumbs, then arrange them in your air fryer basket.
- Set the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) and cook the chicken for 10-12 minutes, flipping them over after the initial 7 minutes; adjust cooking time according to the thickness of the chicken.
- Pour oil over the chicken breasts and sprinkle them with your choice of spices.
- Lay the spiced chicken breasts in the air fryer basket with the top side down and cook for 12-15 minutes, turning them over at the halfway mark with tongs.
- Once the timer goes off, promptly take the chicken out of the air fryer to prevent it from becoming dry. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Try using panko bread crumbs for added crunch.
- Adjust cayenne pepper amount to your taste preference.
- Marinate chicken in olive oil and spices for 30 minutes for enhanced flavor.
