Description

A quick and delicious tuna melt quesadilla featuring creamy cheese, spicy sriracha, and nutritious spinach, ready in just 10 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 cup spinach, chopped
  • 2/3 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tortillas


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sriracha until smooth.
  2. Add the drained tuna, chopped spinach, minced garlic, and dried basil. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Take one tortilla and spread half of the tuna mixture on one half, top with mozzarella cheese, and fold the tortilla.
  4. In a preheated skillet over medium heat, cook the quesadilla until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Repeat with the second quesadilla.
  6. Slice into wedges and serve.

Notes

For an extra cheesy quesadilla, sprinkle some mozzarella on the tortilla before adding the filling. Enjoy with salsa or guacamole for added flavor.
